About the role
The Carbon Data Administrator will have a dual role of both supporting the daily management of UNDO’s bespoke internal inventory management system (IMS) - which is the backbone to the creation of our carbon removal credits - and the validation and verification process through chosen standards such as ISO, Puro, Gold Standard and so on. This is a cross-departmental role, requiring close collaboration with stakeholders in Operations, Science, as well as close working relationships with the Sales and Tech teams.
What will you do
- Generation and allocation of carbon credits in the IMS, requiring daily monitoring of sales, operational and inventory data and engaging with multiple stakeholders to ensure the correct data is processed.
- The generation of inventory reports to update key stakeholders within the company on specific carbon stock data.
- Refine internal workflows to ensure the correct data is being captured and extracted in an appropriate format in order to submit for validation and verification of each project.
- Work closely with the Carbon Product Manager to manage product updates to the IMS and UNDO Registry, including reporting any errors or bugs as and when issues arise.
- Providing the link between our Operations and Carbon teams in relation to project LCA data, ensuring accurate carbon calculations on a project-by-project basis.
- Owning the carbon calculations data that underpins our ERW project value-chains including:
- Carbon removals over the project lifecycle
- All project emissions - derived from LCA
- All other losses and buffers including risk of reversal and leakage
- Provide all data to support the certification of the company’s ERW projects, conforming with the requirements of various carbon standards. This includes project registration, validation and verification
About you
- Passionate about tackling climate change
- Experience with Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and Greenhouse Gas (GHG) inventory calculations
- Excellent administrative/data analytics skills
- Strong communication skills
- Able to communicate and coordinate tasks across a variety of teams.
- Ability to manage own workload and feel comfortable with remote working.
